April draws upon her personal experiences, challenges and successes to encourage and guide others in our fitness community. She is keenly involved in their journey toward a healthier and stronger body. She also champions an increased sense of self worth, value and confidence.
Specialising in group fitness, April upholds the value of a strong team. That is, to be accountable to yourself and set yourself up for success. She inspires people to step outside their comfort zone, and to have some fun in the process!
She strongly believes a community of like-minded people can enrich and enhance your fitness journey.
Ben has been part of the Fitness Life team for 6 years. He uses his knowledge to patiently coach hundreds of members towards health and fitness outcomes.
Ben’s approach to health and fitness is holistic, practical and evidence based. He enjoys developing tools and strategies with people so they can take ownership of their health and fitness. His desire is to help people make lasting, sustainable changes to their lives.
Bernie is the Head Coach here at Fitness Life Studios. In this role, she brings her passion to grow in knowledge and skill to the whole team. She develops strategies and education sessions to enhance our capacity as coaches.
Bernie has a passion for strength training, and loves helping people appreciate all the positive things their bodies can do. She loves assisting clients to set goals they may have previously seen as unachievable. Most importantly, making sure they have fun doing it.
Bernie loves teaching people how to recognise and celebrate their achievements. She also loves helping them become the fittest, healthiest and strongest version of themselves.
Sandra feels that being a coach at Fitness Life Studios isn’t just a job, but a calling and purpose.
As a mum, Sandra has a deep appreciation of the challenges involved with being a parent and maintaining fitness.
Being a Group Training coach plays a huge part in Sandra's life. She runs several of our HIIT, Burn, Recovery and Strength for Life classes and thoroughly enjoys being a participant as well.
She loves taking her early morning group classes and dishing out fun facts while they train. She is well known for her bubbly, energetic personality. Kira loves working with everyone, especially young teens just starting out in the gym. She loves helping people grow in self-confidence, making the gym fun and creating healthy habits.
Fun fact: Bones are 4 times stronger than concrete... crazy 🤯
Lewy has trained and competed in endurance sports since early high school. He loves ultramarathons and long-course triathlons and has developed a passion for exploring his own perceived limits. He is passionate about learning to move and train more effectively.
As a coach, he loves to assist others in the pursuit of their goals. He encourages his clients to surprise themselves with their own abilities and capacities. He prides himself on being engaged, technical, and encouraging of his athletes and clients. He loves helping them develop their own clear understanding of the 'why' behind their training.
These days you can find him training martial arts, rock-climbing, and raising a family!
Tom is now a part of the coaching team, so if you are around, come in and say hey! If you can’t find Tom in the gym, you will find him soaking up the local mountain bike trails or hiking through the hills.
This interest led her beyond Cert III and IV, to a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science. She enjoys training for health, improved energy, and social interaction. Amelia appreciates the many different reasons why someone may come to the gym.
She understands that for most people exercise is a part of life, but not their whole life. She loves helping others find fit exercise into their lives in sustainable and enjoyable way. Amelia enjoys working with people of all ages, including kids.
She is keenly interested in helping clients live better and move better, particularly around injury and rehabilitation. This interest led Bri to pursue qualifications in Physiotherapy. She is now in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at UniSA.

Kathy has 26 years experience interacting with clients as a hairdresser. This gives her many transferrable skills as a personal trainer in the fitness industry. She loves seeing people walk out of sessions with their heads held high - even if their body is aching!!
Aaron is compassion towards others, flexible, and encouraging. These qualities, and his meticulous approach are what makes him a very relatable and practical trainer to work with. Regardless of level of fitness, Aaron has the ability to adapt a program to suit any goal and make this goal a reality.
When Aaron isn’t in the gym you can find him playing football for Mt Barker United. He loves taking on a hiking trail or soaking up the sun on a beach somewhere. Preferably down on the Fleurieu Peninsula with his fiancée and puppy Arlo.
Anthony has tried a few different careers but since completing his Certificate IV in Fitness he has found his jam. His passion is to help others in making healthier and more active changes with their lifestyle, beyond the gym setting. He endeavours to provide strategies, guidance and encouragement for people to achieve the healthiest, strongest versions of themselves.
Anthony enjoys training in high intensity functional fitness in his own time but loves coaching a wide range of styles to meet the individual needs and goals for his clients.
He believes that the gym is a safe space for everyone to feel comfortable and to grow into the best version of themselves.
Anthony is big on High 5’s, loves his footy (and a bit of banter), wife and two dogs.
